In its fourth year, the Business Continuity Institute, together with Everbridge, is releasing its findings on emergency communications across sectors and geographical regions, with the BCI Emergency Communications Report 2017. The 570 professionals who responded to the survey named the top five disruptions that their organizations have experienced: IT outages, weather-related incidents, power outages, cyber security incidents and security incidents. Furthermore, an increased concern among professionals has been identified as the lack of inclusion of emergency communications arrangements in the business continuity plan.
