Following on from a successful 2023 Summit, this full-day conference will cover a range of topics of current interest to business continuity and resilience professionals, with an underlying theme: The Evolution of Resilience. As world events shape the risk landscape, so must current practices adapt to changing environments. Organizations must be aware of any and all constraints on their ability to maintain a “business as usual” posture at all times. Navigating an array of threats which may be environmental, or social, or financial, or technological in nature, requires up-to-date thinking and agility to grow in the right direction.

The conference will have five speakers providing perspectives on the current, where are we now, state of the profession, with ideas for where evolution will be taking us.

  • Areas of discussion will include:
  • Environmental, social and governance (ESG) concerns
  • New technology trends, including the increasing influence of artificial intelligence
  • Social trends impacting businesses and security, both logical and physical
  • The recently released BCI Good Practice Guidelines Edition 7.0

The session will conclude with a panel discussion, synthesising the content into a vision of the future.
