We are pleased to introduce the members of the Programme Advisory Group (PAG) for BCI World Hybrid 2024. With the call for presentations now closed, the PAG will use their experience in the business continuity and resilience sector to provide guidance on the topics, speakers, and presentations to include in the conference programme.

Alex Fullick MBCI
Founder & Managing Director, Stone Road Inc, Canada
Alex Fullick is the founder and Managing Director of Stone Road Inc (StoneRoad), a consulting firm focused on business continuity management and resilience – in all its forms.
Alex has been working in the business continuity and resilience industry for over 26 years, starting a few years before Y2K.
He holds several industry certifications, presented at numerous conferences, and was the 2022 BCI Global Achievement Award Winner.
Alex is also the author of eight business continuity and resilience themed books, an entrepreneur, and the creator and host of the globally recognized and successful podcast and YouTube channel, “Preparing for the Unexpected”.

Daman Sood FBCI
International Resilience Trainer & Consultant, India
Daman, with over 38 years of industry experience and 18 years in resilience, is a certified international and corporate trainer with 14500+ training hours, achieving 100% NPS, and holding 17 copyrights.
He's authored eight books on resilience and held senior roles in prominent organizations like TCS, EY/HSBC, and Chitkara University.
With a global footprint across 20+ countries, he serves clients in diverse sectors and has won multiple national and global awards, including induction into the BCI Hall of Fame.
As a prolific LinkedIn contributor and top voice in training & HR, he's dedicated to advancing organizational resilience, cybersecurity, and risk management.
Currently, as professor of practice at Chitkara University and Director of DBD Training & Consultancy, he continues to shape the industry as Chair of the PR&P Standing Committee IEEE Delhi Section and BCI Fellow, instructor, and awards judge.

Dom Passalacqua
Business Continuity and Governance Consultant, Carers WA, Australia
Dom’s broad professional experience spans across business continuity, disaster recovery, emergency management, governance, risk management, systems, transformation, operations, quality, health, academia, music and elite sport.
He has worked in health care, aged care, mental health, drug and alcohol recovery, universities, not for profit organizations, performance venues, production studios, sporting organizations and private business.
Dom has lived with First Nations Peoples in remote Australia and has been profoundly affected by the wisdom of and their Cultural perspectives to emergency preparation and disaster recovery.
He looks forward to meaningful collaborations and hopes his experience adds value to open conversations.

Ferdie Mocke
Advisory Board, Disaster Management Solutions (t/a DMS NPC) South Africa
Ferdie has a lifelong career in occupational health and safety, risk management, industrial emergency preparedness, business continuity management, disaster risk management community risk management in both the public and private sector.
He headed Eskom’s emergency preparedness.
After he founded Disaster Management Solutions (DMS NPC), Ferdie was part of the team drafting the South Africa National Disaster Management Framework and consulted to National, Provincial and Municipal Disaster Management Centres.
He is currently Director of CREBUS; Caelum Financial Services; Community Risk Management NPC and Community Risk Knowledge Warehouse.

Francesco boasts a twenty year career in defense-related sectors, demonstrating exceptional leadership across various international contexts, including roles in the Italian Navy and NATO. Renowned for his strategic planning, risk management, and agile methodologies, he excels in overseeing multimillion-dollar projects and multinational teams.
His expertise in disaster risk management ensures operational resilience and effective crisis response. Notably, his role at NATO as Branch Head for Protocol and Conferences underscores his proficiency in coordinating high-profile events and fostering international collaborations.
Francesco’s continuous learning, exemplified by an Executive MBA and various certifications, further enhances his prowess in navigating operational complexities. His versatile problem-solving and leadership make him an asset in international operations and business continuity initiatives, especially in managing operational risks in challenging environments.

Joshua Adams MBCI
Resilience Specialist, Colt Technology Services, UK
Joshua (BSc Hons Disaster Management and Emergency Planning) is a Resilience SME for Colt Technology Services, responsible for the business continuity management system and crisis response framework for twenty two countries.
He has been working in the resilience sector for eleven years, in the field of crisis management, ops resilience, business continuity & emergency planning. Whilst recently working in the technology sector he has worked across CNI operators globally, National Power Companies & within local authorities, with experience in the third sector for disaster response in the UK.
Joshua is keen on training and facilitating and takes a pragmatic approach to delivering resilience programmes for the organisations he supports.

Kechewia Charles AMBCI
Acting CRO, Eastern Caribbean Central Bank, St Kitts and Nevis – British West Indies
Kechewia is Acting Chief Risk Officer in the Office of Corporate Strategy and Risk Management at the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank, headquartered in St Kitts and Nevis – British West Indies.
Her responsibilities include oversight for the implementation of the bank’s business continuity management system and oversight of operational risk, strategic management and corporate compliance.
She holds a BSc (Hons.) in Banking and Finance from the University of the West Indies (UWI), an MSc in Finance from Lancaster University and is completing an MSc in Central Banking and Financial Regulation at Warwick University UK.

Louisa Berry
Business Resilience Partner,, UK Atomic Energy Authority, UK
Louisa Berry is a very experienced resilience practitioner and academic, having held both academic and operational roles within business continuity, emergency planning and the wider resilience sphere. Louisa has a varied resilience portfolio, having headed up resilience within the UK within an NHS Hospital Trust, overseeing BAU requirements, as well as being well-versed in operational response for events such as the London 2012 Olympics, preparedness for potential Ebola cases, as well as a range of business continuity management events.
As a former nurse, Louisa is well-placed to translate clinical requirements into meaningful business continuity management requirements, specialising in critical care, trauma, theatres and public health. Within a public health role, Louisa was part of the team responding to the swine flu pandemic, learning lessons that were readily implemented into the covid preparations.
She had a successful time as an academic, leading the masters’ resilience programmes, and taking a great deal of job satisfaction from seeing students grow and develop. Given Louisa’s track record in the swine flu pandemic, Louisa led the university’s operational covid response, including the end-to-end management of the asymptomatic testing programme. Louisa has also served in the military as part of the QARANC and saw deployment in 2003, as part of Op. TELIC.
Louisa is now enjoying being in full-time resilience practice again, as a business resilience partner, specialising in business continuity at the UK Atomic Energy Authority.

Meredith brings a wealth of experience and expertise, with over seventeen years spent mastering the fields of enterprise risk management, business continuity management, and compliance. Her journey has taken her across a variety of industries and geographies, enriching her knowledge and understanding along the way.
Currently serving as the Director of Resilient Consultancy, a consultancy firm based in Suriname, Meredith has demonstrated exceptional leadership and insight. Her commitment to excellence is further underscored by her prestigious certifications such as Member of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI), certified trainer with the BCI and PECB Certified ISO22301 BCMS Senior Lead Implementer.
Meredith's dedication to her profession is about making a tangible difference in the organizations she works with.

Nisreen Al Khatib MBCI
Director, PwC Middle East, Saudi Arabia
Nisreen Al Khatib (MBCI, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CIPM) is a seasoned expert and consultant specializing in resilience & business continuity management, privacy, and cybersecurity management, as well as IT & IS risk management & compliance.
With over twenty years of experience, she has successfully led complex engagements across diverse sectors in the Middle East.Nisreen actively volunteers in various capacities and has spearheaded initiatives with renowned organizations such as ISACA international, Toastmasters International, and Women in Cybersecurity Middle East (WiCSME).
She frequently serves as a speaker/moderator at local and regional conferences, covering topics ranging from resilience and cybersecurity to risk management, communication, and leadership.
Additionally, Nisreen has conducted numerous training sessions and workshops for both corporate and public entities.

Shelly Froude
Senior Risk Officer, World Bank BCM Program, USA
Shelly Froude is the Senior Risk Officer in the World Bank’s business continuity management program.
She has over twenty years’ experience in business continuity, risk management and internal audit, working with multinational technology companies and financial institutions.
Shelly is recognized for strategic thinking and thought leadership in her research and advocacy on organizational resilience since 2017.
She is passionate about continuous learning, innovation, and volunteering for workplace inclusion and ethics and professional development.
Shelly earned certifications in business continuity, internal audit, risk management and information security and a master’s degree from Oxford University.

Yousif Ebrahim Faraj CBCI
Senior Lecturer, Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance – BIBF, Bahrain
Yousif Faraj (MBA, CBCI, PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, DASM, Scrum Master, ITIL) boasts over twenty seven years of expertise across various sectors in banking and training.
With a wealth of experience, he specializes in business continuity, encompassing disaster recovery planning and management within both the banking and education realms. Yousif has accumulated more than 10,000 hours of training in business continuity and project management.
During his tenure of eight years at HSBC, Yousif served as an IT Projects and business continuity professional. In this role, he oversaw the management of all IT projects and led initiatives in business continuity and disaster recovery planning. His responsibilities extended to crafting periodic/annual IT plans and related returns, as well as formulating the annual technology projects plan.

Zera Zheng AMBCI
Global Head of Business Resilience Consulting, Maersk Ocean & Logistics, The Netherlands
Zera started her career at Kuehne Nagel in 2007 and has excelled in various key roles at Damco and Maersk. Under her leadership, her team clinched a BCI Award in 2020, and she steered the creation of the Maersk Supply Chain Resilience Model, a consulting service in 2021.
Zera holds an M.Sc. in Political Economy, an AMBCI and Certified Supply Chain Professional certifications. She contributes to global initiatives like the UNCTAD Port Resilience Guidebook.
With her dedication and leadership, Zera continues to shape the business resilience landscape and effectively manages complex global supply chains.
