Horizon Scan report is the most widely responded to, and circulated, report the BCI produces, it is presented and talked about at conferences from the US to Australasia. Its findings show the threats resilience professionals should be aware of in todays environment. The 2017 report received input from 726 organizations from 79 countries.

Top threats

The top three threats reported are all linked to IT – cyber attack, data breach and unplanned IT and telecommunications outages. Other threats making the top ten include adverse weather and terrorism.
