We are pleased to present the October 2018 results of our first Brexit Readiness Tracker report which is designed to provide a view of how prepared organizations are across the world to deal with the potential issues that could arise from Britain exiting the EU on 29 March 2019.

The survey will be carried out regularly in the run up to the exit date with the aim of not only providing a barometer of both industry and organization preparedness, but also to deliver an indicator of business sentiment. This is currently the only regular tracker of business preparedness, and we hope it will provide powerful insight into your own organization’s readiness.

Organizations feel “somewhat prepared” as they take a wait and see approach:

This month’s overall preparedness factor (the grouped mean from all responses received) shows a preparedness value of 63.7% for a hard Brexit and 68.6% for a soft Brexit. However, whilst 47.5% of those surveyed rate their organizations as being well prepared or very well prepared for a soft Brexit, just 28.0% hold the same view for a hard Brexit.
