Having been in the resilience world from the age of 18 and now 30 years on I feel that I have seen many changes take place. I served in the Women’s Royal Naval Service (WRNS) on leaving college and was quickly introduced to the theory “adapt and overcome” as is the ethos of the military, plan B is instinctively part of the make-up of mine and in the military DNA.
