Manel Herrer is a Business Continuity, IT Service Continuity and IT Security professional currently working in the Catalan Cybersecurity Agency, for the catalan regional government (Generalitat de Catalunya).
Member of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI) since September 2015, he has more than 10 years of experience working in Business Continuity. He has been working in a variety of sectors, and has a wide experience in conducting and developing Business Continuity and Crisis Management Programs, becoming a specialist in creating simulation rehearsals to test existing continuity procedures and plans, to be prepared in the event of a real-life disaster.
His background in consultancy, public sector, banking and HR sectors has provided him a wide range of experience in a series of sectors and management levels, helping building and approving by the companies' senior leaders a variety of Business Continuity and Crisis Management Programs.
Furthermore, he is fluent in Spanish, English and Catalan, and has an intermediate level in French and Italian.
