Growing up in a small family business, I understand how small
businesses are the champions of the economy. They are the ones who
directly contribute to and make a positive difference in their
communities and for their families.
Disruptions are inevitable. Whether an environmental disaster,
data breach or other type of disruption, the disconnect and a lack of
preparedness planning and education for small businesses is huge.
This is my calling. I am committed to ensuring small businesses
are prepared to thrive and be resilient. I do this work through 1:1
planning, workshops and ongoing education so they can have peace of
mind knowing they’ll successfully navigate through inevitable business disruptions.
Hi! I'm Patty, a Business Continuity Manager and Disaster
Preparedness Educator. I hold the CBCI designation from the Business
Continuity Institute and a Project Management Certificate from Google.
I am also a FEMA CERT & Team Rubicon volunteer, speaker, writer,
and co-author. My first experience with disaster recovery planning was
shortly after the 9/11 crisis.
I have 10+ years of experience developing, implementing, and
managing risk management and business continuity plans. I'm highly
organized and have a knack for problem-solving that helps me ensure
that my plans are comprehensive and well-executed. I believe that
effective business continuity plans are essential for the success of
small businesses and I'm dedicated to helping my clients protect their companies.
