I have 25 years in telecommunications, tech, finance, and healthcare. From my very first job in 1992, I learned the formula of setting a clear and consistent expectation for your people internally and externally, as a key to success. I spent a year at a community college and was hired at ATT Wireless in a call center. Most of my experiences have been in customer and IT service management, operations, and Business Resilience (BC, DR, and Crisis Management) roles. Oh, the stories I can tell… most of my roles have been centered around emerging technologies and industries. It's been quite the journey – analog to digital in cellular, deep dives into e-commerce, digital marketing, networking, telephony, and information systems in my .com chapter, and rampant growth and regulation in health care. I have been part of start-ups, outsourcing, busts, mergers, and acquisitions. I have gravitated to, and been placed in operational resilience roles to consider, strategize, and protect the internal and external customer experience.
