Over the last 10 years, Andrew has managed Business Continuity Management (BCM) programmes within large, complex organisations across technology and pharmaceutical market sectors, developing innovative, practical and robust BCM and incident response capability, bringing a resilience ethos into the heart of corporate culture. Andrew specialises in the development of simple, meaningful, and flexible solutions, tailored to suit customer requirements with a laser focus on simplicity, usability and availability when needed. Prior to his current position, Andrew has worked for over 24 years in the broader resilience field, most recently spending 10 years in BCM leadership roles within complex technology and pharmaceutical FTSE100 organisations. Andrew has also held senior positions in Local Government Emergency Planning, advising local, regional and national groups and leading on a wide portfolio of resilience areas including Emergency preparedness, BCM, major incident, maritime oil pollution and Pandemic Influenza response. He has also worked extensively with the SME sector, advising on the creation of strong Business Continuity Management and resilience capability.
